Agreement
These terms apply to Tandem, including the web dashboard, worker web routes, mobile app, APIs, and any future desktop application. The customer named in an order form or account setup is responsible for all users invited into its workspace. These terms should be read with any signed order form, quote, subscription checkout, Data Processing Addendum, Privacy Notice, Worker Monitoring Notice, and Subprocessor List.
If an order form conflicts with these terms, the order form controls for commercial details such as plan, price, subscription period, support level, and any agreed special terms.
Customer responsibilities
- Use Tandem only for lawful field workforce operations.
- Invite only authorized employees, contractors, or representatives.
- Maintain accurate company, site, worker, job, and monitoring notices.
- Obtain any required worker notices, consents, consultation, or policy approvals before enabling monitoring features.
- Keep account credentials secure and promptly remove users who no longer need access.
- Review generated records before relying on them for payroll, disciplinary, customer billing, safety, or legal purposes.
- Do not upload healthcare-regulated data, patient records, protected health information, payment card data, or other prohibited sensitive data.
Invitations and onboarding
Tandem is intended to support customer-created admin accounts and admin-issued invitation links for workers and employees. Until that workflow is fully implemented, admins must create accounts only for authorized people and must communicate login and monitoring requirements through approved company channels.
Acceptable use
- Do not reverse engineer, overload, scan, scrape, or attack the service.
- Do not bypass tenant, role, assignment, or worker access controls.
- Do not upload malware, unlawful content, or data you have no right to process.
- Do not use Tandem for covert, excessive, discriminatory, retaliatory, or unlawful worker monitoring.
- Do not use Tandem to process children's data unless the customer has a lawful basis and Tandem has agreed in writing.
- Do not use Tandem as the sole emergency response system or as a replacement for emergency services.
Worker monitoring and mobile permissions
Tandem includes location, geofence, attendance, forms, notification, and safety features. Customers are responsible for telling workers what is monitored, why, when monitoring is active, who can see the data, how long records are kept, how corrections work, and how workers can raise concerns. Customers must not enable background location or geofencing unless it is lawful and proportionate for their workforce.
Lone-worker and safety features
Lone-worker alerts, priority pushes, site arrival alerts, and related notifications are operational aids. They are not guaranteed emergency, medical, law enforcement, or life-safety services. Customers remain responsible for their safety policies, escalation routes, training, and emergency response procedures.
Fees, plans, and suspension
Fees, plan limits, trials, renewals, cancellation terms, and taxes should be set out in an order form, checkout flow, or pricing schedule before commercial launch. Tandem may suspend access for non-payment, security risk, misuse, breach of these terms, or legal risk. Suspension should preserve customer records unless deletion is lawful and requested or required.
Customer data
Customer data remains owned or controlled by the customer. Tandem may process customer data to provide, secure, support, and improve the service, and as otherwise described in the Privacy Notice and Data Processing Addendum.
The customer grants Tandem the limited rights needed to host, transmit, display, back up, troubleshoot, and otherwise process customer data for the service. Tandem does not acquire ownership of customer data.
Third-party services
Tandem depends on third-party services such as Supabase, hosting, maps, mobile build and push providers, email, monitoring, and payment providers. Some features may depend on those services, device permissions, network availability, map accuracy, operating-system behavior, and customer configuration.
Availability and changes
Tandem is currently moving toward production sale readiness. Features may change as web, mobile, and future desktop clients mature. Any service-level commitments should be stated in a separate written agreement.
Termination and data export
Either party's termination rights, notice periods, refunds, and post-termination access should be stated in an order form or written contract before paid launch. Customers should export required records before closure. Tandem may delete or return customer data after the services end, subject to backup, security, legal, tax, accounting, and retention obligations.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Tandem is provided without implied warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular workflow. Liability limits, exclusions, and indemnities must be finalized in customer contracts before sale. The terms should not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Governing law and disputes
Governing law, venue, escalation, and dispute resolution process must be selected before launch: [chosen governing law and courts or arbitration forum]. Customers in regulated or public-sector contexts may require a signed master services agreement instead of these online terms alone.
Changes to these terms
Tandem may update these terms as the product and commercial model mature. Material changes should be versioned and notified through the service, email, or customer contract process. Continued use after the effective date may require renewed acceptance.
